The Life They Live.
Gambling Man
Empty pockets
Drunken Woman
Clutching her pretty locket
Old Man
Walks the Street
Shuffling each step
With time to keep
Disturbed housewife
Wondering why
The walls don't talk back
Are they shy ?
Graceful Dancer
Twirling to a tune
Forgetting what happened
On a dark day in June
Bala clavered head
Breaking the door
Will fill his bag
With all that's in store
Distant lawn mower
With an owner that sighs
Bees buzzing round
Sunflowers high
A happy child
Looking at the Sun
In his hand
A Cowboy's gun
Teenagers waiting
For School to end
Summer vacations
Just around the bend
We all live
Such different lives
Some of them good
A few of them sad
That gambling Man shouts
To a devil of class
That drunken woman stumbles
With her Demon filled glass
Life swallows us all
With stories to be told
A legacy set
In a page of gold.
